Who we are
This policy applies to the Trident app for Android and iOS, developed by Odx ("we", "us"). For any privacy question, email erick.alexanderf05@gmail.com.
Data stored on your device
The app stores the following information only in your phone's local storage. We do not receive it, it is not sent to any server and we cannot see it.
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Preferences | Vibration, voice, animations, light or dark mode, numbers on tiles and dice, tile and dice themes. |
| Custom rules | The rule sets you create and which one is active. |
| Game in progress | Lets you resume an unfinished game. Cleared when you start a new one. |
| Game counters | Number of games and dice rolls, used to decide when to show an ad. |
The voice feature uses the text-to-speech engine already built into your device. How it works depends on your operating system and its provider, not on Trident.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Trident shows ads from Google AdMob (a banner at the bottom of the screen and a full-screen ad after some games). To serve, measure and protect these ads against fraud, the Google SDK may collect and process, under its own policy:
- Your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID, or IDFA on iOS only if you allow it).
- Your IP address and the approximate location derived from it.
- Technical device information: model, operating system, language, carrier and connection type.
- Ad interactions: impressions, clicks, performance and crash data.
We do not receive this data about individual users; we only see aggregated statistics in AdMob (such as impressions and earnings). Google acts as an independent controller of that processing. Learn more:
Consent and ad controls
European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland
The first time you open the app, we show a Google consent form (compatible with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework). You can accept, reject or choose specific purposes. If you reject, the app works the same and only non-personalized or limited ads can be shown.
You can change your choice at any time from Settings → Privacy → Ad consent inside the app.
iPhone and iPad
iOS will ask whether you allow tracking (App Tracking Transparency). If you don't, the IDFA is not used. You can change this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Android
You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on the manufacturer).
You can also manage ad personalization for your Google account at myadcenter.google.com.
App permissions
- Internet and network state: required to load ads.
- Vibration: for haptic feedback, if enabled.
- Keep screen on: so your phone doesn't lock during a game.
- Tracking (iOS only): requested for personalized ads; you can deny it.
The app does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, photos or precise location.
Minimum age
Trident includes game rules that refer to drinking alcohol. It is intended only for people aged 18 or older, or the legal drinking age in their country if higher. Drink responsibly and never drink and drive.
The app is not directed at minors and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor is using the app, you can delete its data by uninstalling it and contact us if needed.
Retention and deletion
Local data is kept until you delete it. To remove all of it, uninstall the app or clear its data from your device settings (Android: Settings → Apps → Trident → Storage → Clear data).
Data processed by Google is retained according to its policy. Resetting your advertising ID unlinks past activity from your device.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, the GDPR in Europe or California privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your data, to withdraw consent and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
Because we don't keep personal data on our own servers, the quickest way to exercise these rights is through the controls described above. For data processed by Google, use Google's privacy tools. If you have questions, email us and we'll help.
We do not sell your personal data.
Security
Local data stays in the app's private storage, protected by the operating system. Communications from Google's ads SDK are encrypted in transit.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we will also let you know in the app.
